Wood QMK/VIA Wireless Retro Mechanical Keyboard
The Wood QMK/VIA Wireless Retro Mechanical Keyboard brings a sophisticated natural texture to the modern workspace. I spent two weeks using this board across both my Mac and Windows setups to see if its performance matches its distinct visual appeal.
Performance & Build Quality
The wood casing provides a sturdy, tactile foundation that feels significantly more premium than standard plastic alternatives. It handles daily usage with ease, and the integration of modern mechanical switches ensures the durability expected of a high-end peripheral.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the wireless connection was seamless, and using VIA to remap keys on the fly made switching between work flows incredibly efficient. The retro-style RGB lighting is subtle enough to maintain the vintage look while providing just enough visibility for late-night typing sessions.
This keyboard is perfect for professionals or hobbyists who value a desk setup that looks as good as it performs and enjoy fine-tuning their key layouts.

The Wood QMK/VIA Wireless Retro Mechanical Keyboard earns a solid 4.82/5 rating for its unique blend of style and technical versatility. At $219.00, it stands out as a sophisticated, high-performance tool for anyone looking to elevate their daily typing experience.
